Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, Ahuru House is an architecturally designed Bed and Breakfast that sits on an elevated ridge with panoramic views across the rolling hills of the Brynderwyn Ranges.

Ahuru House gives the discerning traveller boutique accommodation 5 minutes from Mangawhai Heads and 35 minutes from Matakana. You will be amongst some of New Zealand’s great expansive white sandy beaches, stunning walks, great wineries and cafes together with outdoor pursuits such as golfing, fishing and surfing.

 

Ahuru House is an Adults only retreat with Fur Babies welcome with prior agreement.

The bed is an absolute haven of comfort, made with high-end linen which guaranteed a fabulous night's sleep. As a delightful touch, we were greeted with buttery vanilla shortbread, adding a sweet note to the stay. Pet-friendly amenities make it a great spot for furry friends, while the stunning views outside elevate the experience to new heights. Lisa and Graham know the meaning of hospitality, ensuring we were made to feel welcome and cared for.
